Vancouver Here We Come!

July 7, 2009 Leave a comment

Hello everyone, this is a daily round-up of this trip so far.
The first plane flight was 8hours from Belfast to New York wasn’t exactly pleasant. When finally arriving at Times Square it was a fight through the street with massive suitcase’s and massive crowd’s to find the hotel which ended up being directly in the center of Time Square, it was a great hotel with a view to die for.

The next morning it was breakfast in Planet Hollywood which was interesting, then it was the airport once again to suffer from being in a cramped seat for a long period of time, meaning 3.5hours flight from New York to Houston and then straight after that a 4.5hour flight from Houston to Vancouver with 35 minutes delay, so after all that we manage to check in at the hotel by 2am and straight to bed it was.

More update on the trip soon when the trip reaches all corners of Vancouver and photo’s to follow.

Three Week’s in Vancouver!

Hey there! it’s been a very warm day, I am writing this post under some shade because I was being cooked like turkey inside the oven… I meant car.  It’s is time to give everyone an update or at least those who still follow this blog, time now seem’s to be running out, under two weeks left until the journey to vancouver has left me freaking out about money, so I spent some time working out my budget and it’s taken a U-turn towards a dead end and as they always say ”follow the light” which I did, guess where it ends?

Right at the very footsteps of my parents! It just means after I return from this trip I would have to work my ass off to to pay it all back, there’s no such thing as free lunch, remember that!  Also after my return I will hopefully be looking for a full-time engineering job or something fun, but it’s hard, it’s never easy.  This is were I should stop moaning, it’s getting depressing.

So moving on, I am looking forward to seeing Vancouver and what it has instore for me,  packing shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, the only thing that i’m not looking forward to is switching between three planes Zzz… but getting to stay in New York City is pretty exciting for me, I’ll be trying my best to provide some photo’s of the scenery and everything else that catch’s my eye, this should keep everyone updated.
